Paul Darey, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1977, moved to Barcelona in 1988, where he began his music career as a DJ. His passion for electronic dance music led him to play at the city’s most renowned house parties, marking the beginning of a journey that would take him across the globe. In 2001, Paul had his first international opportunity in the USA, where he spent three years DJing at major events. His success in the United States set the stage for his eventual move to Ibiza, the world’s electronic music capital.In Ibiza, Paul made his mark, debuting alongside Roger Sanchez at the Release Yourself pre-party at Café Mambo. His performance was so well received that he became the resident DJ for the world tour of the event for five years. This pivotal moment marked the start of Paul’s long and prosperous relationship with Ibiza’s most iconic venues. In 2007, he became a resident DJ at Space Ibiza, one of the world’s most legendary nightclubs, where he played until October 2012. During his time at Space Ibiza, Paul shared the stage with global superstars like Steve Lawler, Sven Vath, Erick Morillo, and Pete Tong, further cementing his place among the elite in the global dance scene.

Throughout his career, Paul has played at renowned clubs and festivals around the world, including Zouk in Singapore, Green Valley in Brazil, Ellui in South Korea, and Queen in Paris, to name a few. His presence on the Space Ibiza On Tour circuit brought his signature house and tech style to the best clubs worldwide.In 2013, Paul transitioned to a solo DJ career, becoming a resident DJ at the legendary Ibiza Beach Club, Bora Bora. There, he played daily at the iconic daytime beach parties, sharing the decks with industry giants such as Dave Seaman, Stefano Noferini, and Fat Boy Slim. His performances continued to showcase his ability to connect with the crowd, creating unforgettable moments wherever he played.As a producer, Paul has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Marc Flaque, Alan Lockwood, and Inaki Santos. His collaborations have resulted in releases with top-tier labels like Cr2 Records, Go Deeva, Nervous Records, and Spinnin’ Records. Notable tracks include “Pepas,” which received remixes from Mikalogic and David Herrero, and «El Trombon» with Hotfingers Records. His music has been supported by some of the biggest DJs in the world, including Richie Hawtin and Luciano.Paul’s exceptional talent has been recognized over the years, with numerous nominations, including being nominated for Best DJ of the Year and Best Tech-House Artist by Vicious Music Magazine in 2012. He was also nominated 12 times in five years at the Deejay Magazine Awards.Today, Paul Darey remains a prominent figure in the global electronic music scene, balancing his DJ career with his production work, continuing to innovate and inspire audiences worldwide.
